My Story

Who am I?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am Carla, the founder of Gut Healing Revolution. My passion for food, nutrition, and healthy living has been a constant throughout my life. My journey towards gut healing began when my son was born, and he was struggling with reflux, eczema, allergies, and food intolerances from birth. To alleviate his symptoms, I conducted extensive research to understand the root cause of his struggles and how I could help him. As I was breastfeeding him, I had to modify my diet to eliminate all foods that could trigger his symptoms. This experience allowed me to recognize the direct correlation between gut health and various ailments.<\/p>

My primary objective was to heal my son and enable him to live a normal life. Through my efforts, his eczema was cured, his reflux ceased, his allergies subsided and his adenoids became manageable.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

What happened next?<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

I tested positive for Helicobacter Pylori and underwent a triple therapy of antibiotics. Despite this treatment, I continued to experience abdominal pain, weight loss, hair loss, eczema, fatigue, and burning sensations in my stomach. In a state of desperation, I attempted another round of triple therapy, but experienced a significant flare-up and was unable to complete the course. I sought the advice of various medical professionals, including doctors, specialists, a naturopath, and a health coach, and was diagnosed with gastritis, Crohn’s disease, gluten intolerance, candida, and other conditions. Taking matters into my own hands, I delved deeper into the functioning of the gut and discovered imbalances in my hormones and microbiome. I made significant changes to my diet and began taking appropriate supplements, which resulted in a marked improvement within two weeks. I also prayed for strength and healing during this time. After continuing this regimen for several months, I underwent a colonoscopy and gastroscopy, which revealed that my gastritis was healing, no abnormalities were found, and I tested negative for H. pylori.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
